On the night of the 25th of last month, a phone call was made to the police.
It was a murder notice that said, “I’m going to Busan to kill a person스포츠토토.”
The police were immediately dispatched to Busan Station to prepare for any unforeseen incidents.
[Dispatch police officer: I wrote down all the times of Mugunghwa arriving in Busan on KakaoTalk. At 21:42 Mugunghwa arrived at Busan Station. The next Mugunghwa will arrive at 22:36.]
The only clue was the name and voice of the reporter.
It was impossible to track the location because it was a mobile phone without a SIM card.
[Dispatch Police: There are 7 arriving trains left since this time. Can you confirm something like a photo?]
First, the police obtained a photo of suspect A through the report history.
It took 2 hours and 20 minutes for dozens of people, including the railroad police and station staff, to check and search.
The police finally found Mr. A in the crowd.
It was almost midnight for her.
At first, Mr. A denied her report, saying, “What are you talking about?”
However, when the police questioned him again, Mr. A admitted to the crime.
Mr. A, who drank 6 bottles of soju at the time, stated that he made a false report because of a bad memory he had at a restaurant in Busan.
It was confirmed that Mr. A had already made false reports several times before that.
The police arrested Mr. A on charges of obstruction of justice and handed the case over to the prosecution.
