Lee So-mi tied for 5th place in Japan’s major tournament 1R… 2nd car in the lead

Lee So-mi (Daebang Construction) tied for 5th on the first day of the World Ladies Championship Salon Pas Cup (total prize money of 120 million yen), the first major tournament of the JLPGA tour season.

In the first round of the tournament held at Ibaraki Golf Club (par 72) in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan on the 4th, Lee So-mi hit an even par 72 with two birdies and two bogeys.

Lee So-mi, tied for 5th place, chased solo leader Misaki Miyazawa (Japan) with a 2-under 70 stroke by 2 strokes.

Lee So-mi, who won two victories on the Korean Women’s Professional Golf (KLPGA) Tour last year, climbed into the top 50 in the world rankings and earned the right to participate in this tournament along with Park Min-ji (NH Investment & Securities) and Kim Su-ji (Dongbu Construction).

Due to the difficult course and strong winds,ㅋㅋㅋ벳 it is not easy for even the best golfers to achieve good results. On the first day of the tournament, only four players hit under par.

Kim Su-ji recorded a 3-over-par 75 with 1 birdie and 4 bogeys, and was tied for 29th place. Park Min-ji, who played her first match on the JLPGA Tour, tied for 42nd with Shin Ji-ae with a 4-over-par 76.
