‘Hanwha Legends’ Jang Jong-hoon and Jo Gyeong-taek donate their talents in search of Gyeryong dreamers

 Legends of the Hanwha Eagles started to donate their talents. 

Former Hanwha head coach Jang Jong-hun and Doosan battery coach Cho Gyeong-taek visited the Gyeryong University Baseball Stadium in Gyeryong-si, Chungcheongnam-do on the 10th and coached young baseball players belonging to the Gyeryong Futures U-15. 

Coach Jang Jong-hoon, the main character of the KBO league’s 340th home run career, gave careful guidance to the players’ batting posture and swing, and former catcher Cho Gyeong-taek also passed on his know-how as a catcher through one-on-one coaching.  스포츠토토

This is not the first time the two veteran leaders have visited Gyeryong Futures U-15. It’s already the 4th since the winter of 2021. 

With coach Kim Nam-gyu and coach Song In-hwan, who spent 30 years as a player and front desk at Hanwha, they visited Gyeryong every winter to donate their talents in the first year of their founding, and continue their relationship with dream trees by visiting Gyeryong. 

Director Kim Nam-gyu said, “I am grateful to the two seniors who always visit without forgetting and guide me passionately. It’s not easy to keep paying attention like this, not just once. It gives greater motivation to children who are developing their dreams.” 

Gyeryong Futures U-15, the first U-15 baseball club in Gyeryong City, will have 10 freshmen after 6 graduates. Celebrating the 3rd year of its founding, it is aiming to improve the stamina, basic skills and skills of the players by equipping the assortment of the team. 

Manager Kim Nam-gyu said, “I will definitely strengthen the players’ stamina and basics. Winning is good, but the priority is to develop players with the basics who can be recognized anywhere. I want to show that the club team can do as well as the elite through training faithful to stamina and basics.”
