‘300% rise in pay’ guard Lee Ho-hyun, free agent transfer to KCC ‘hit the jackpot’

The news of the recruitment of a professional basketball free agent (FA) is in full swing.

Jeonju KCC announced on the 15th that it had recruited guard Lee Ho-hyeon (30) from Seoul Samsung as a free agent.

KCC succeeded in catching Lee Ho-hyun under the unconventional condition of a contract period of 4 years with a remuneration of 240 million won (annual salary of 168 million won + incentive of 72 million won).

Considering that Lee Ho-hyun received a total of 60 million won in remuneration, he hit the FA jackpot.

KCC has suffered greatly due to the absence of the first guard in the 2022-2023 season. After sending Hyun-jun Yoo to Wonju DB as a free agent compensation player for Heo Woong, there was no one suitable to play the role of leading guard.

In the midst of this, KCC decided to focus on reinforcing guards in the free agent market this year, and worked hard on Lee Ho-hyun.스포츠토토

Lee Ho-hyun, who graduated from Gunsan High School and Chung-Ang University, played 47 regular league games for the Seoul Samsung last season, averaging 8.3 points and 2.7 assists.

Lee Ho-hyun’s FA agreement is the second after Kim Hyun-ho, who renewed a one-year contract with DB for a fee of 100 million won on the 11th.
