‘Tottenham, come out!’ → ‘Breaking SON’s old teacher ahead of the North London Derby’… ‘Havertz + White Multi-goal’ Arsenal win 5-0 against Chelsea… keeping the lead

Arsenal held on to the top of the league table with Chelsea.

Arsenal won 5-0 in the 29th round of the English Premier League (EPL) against Chelsea in the 2023-2024 season at the Emirates Stadium in London on the 24th (Korea time).

Arsenal (score: 77), which had won the match, widened the gap with Liverpool (score: 74), which was ranked second with one less game, to three points. The situation has been on the upswing in the run-up to the upcoming North London derby against Tottenham. Chelsea (score: 47), on the other hand, failed to pull up its ranking from ninth place.

Home team Arsenal stepped up with a 4-3-3 tactic. Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossar were at the front line, while Martin Odegaard, Thomas Partey and Declan Rice worked together in the midfield. Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalangis and Tomiyasu Takehiro played for the four-back. David Raya kept the goal.

Chelsea, the away team, countered with a 4-2-3-1 tactic. Nicola Jackson was supported on the one-top, and Mykhailo Mudryk, Conor Gallagher and Noni Madueke were supported on the second line. Moises Caicedo and Enso Fernandez were in the third line. The defense was composed of Marc Cucurella, Benoit Badiasi, Axel Disasi and Alfie Gilchrist. Jorge Petrovic wore goalkeeper gloves.

Arsenal took the lead with an early goal. In the fourth minute of the first half, Rice took the pass opened from the center to the left and drove the ball forward. Rice pushed Trossar to the left in the penalty box, and Trossar’s immediate shot went straight through the net and Petrovic and into Chelsea’s goal.

Arsenal immediately got the chance to score more but unfortunately missed it. In the ninth minute of the first half, 외degaard pushed Havertz a ball from the front and had a chance to score inside the net, but Havertz chose to pass rather than shoot, and the ball was caught by Caicedo, who came to cover.
Chelsea has also launched counterattack from the middle of the first half. In the 19th minute of the first half, Vardyceil touched the ball that was crossed by a corner kick chance obtained by Saka’s pass mistake, and Disasi, who was waiting behind him, tried to push it in but it passed.

Arsenal fought hard to create chances under strong pressure. In the 26th minute of the first half, a pass that led to White and 외degaard was delivered to Havertz in the box, and Havertz’s shot was blocked by Petrovic. In the ensuing attack, Trossar’s shot deflected off the defense and was blocked by Petrovic once again.

Chelsea also threatened Arsenal in front of the gate. Cucurella’s shot in the 30th minute of the first half hit the defense and Enso finished it off with a shot, but it fell by the side of the net. In the 41st minute of the first half, Jackson attempted to shoot Gallagher’s cross in front of the gate, but the whistle blew as the ball hit his hand first.

Since then, they have exchanged several attacks, but the score has not been scored, and the first half ended with Arsenal’s 1-0 lead.

Arsenal also had a chance in the second half. In the fourth minute of the second half, Arsenal won the ball through pressure, and Rice finished with a shot from inside the box after Odegaard’s push, but Petrovic calmly defended. In the sixth minute of the second half, Odegaard accurately saw Havertz’s penetration and pushed him, but Havertz’s shot failed to penetrate between Petrovic’s legs.

Arsenal opened the gap by scoring an extra point. In the seventh minute of the second half, Saka tried a mid-range shot at Rice with a corner, but it was blocked by Gallagher. When the ball went to White, White did not hesitate to try again and shook the Chelsea net.

Arsenal’s third score was also scored. In the 12th minute of the second half, 외degaard scored an early cross to Havertz who rushed into the back of the defense. Havertz managed to break Cucurella’s check and ran to the front of the goal before sending a powerful shot into the Chelsea goal.

Chelsea wasted a chance to redeem itself. In the 16th minute of the second half, Madueke used pressure to steal Tomiyasu’s ball and passed the ball to Jackson in front of the goal. However, Jackson’s shot went straight to the side net.

Arsenal sealed the scoring with their fourth goal. Saka delivered the ball to Havertz in the center after breaking through on the right side in the 20th minute of the second half. Havertz scored without the goalkeeper’s control as he properly aimed for the nearest goal after a short dribble.

He even scored the fifth goal. In the 25th minute of the second half, Odegaard’s neat pass went to White, and White’s cross went straight into the Chelsea goal.

In the end, the game ended with Arsenal’s 5-0 victory. 여우알바
