Former Los Angeles Dodgers star Yasiel Puig has reportedly been charged with new charges in an ongoing federal lawsuit related to an investigation into illegal sports betting.

The US media’Heavy.com’ reported on the 24th (Korean time) that Puig, who was charged with false statements in August 2022, was charged with obstruction of justice on the 21st of 2023.

On the other hand, Kiwoom has said that it considered joining Puig for the 2023 season, but gave up on renewing the contract when Puig became embroiled in legal problems.
