A-lim Kim (28) took the lead alone in the second round of the Chevron Championship, the first major tournament this year on the LPGA Tour.
In the second round of the tournament held at The Club Carleton Woods (par 72) in Woodlands, Texas, USA on the 21st (Korean time), Kim A-rim hit 8 birdies and 1 bogey and recorded 7 under par 65 strokes.
Kim A-lim, who shot her interim total of 8 under par 136, climbs to the lead and challenges her second LPGA Tour career win. Kim A-rim, who won the US Women’s Open in a major tournament in December 2020, aims for the top in about two years and four months.
Kim Hyo-joo (28) is tied for 10th with an interim total of 4 under par and 140 strokes.
Choi Woon-jeong (33),스포츠토토 who had been in second place the previous day, lost one stroke in the second round and tied for 17th place with a 3-under-par 141 strokes.
Meanwhile, some players could not finish the second round due to the sunset.
