The Korea Volleyball Association (Chairman Oh Han-nam) announced the list of men’s volleyball national teams to participate in various international competitions in 2023, including the Hangzhou Asian Games.
The men’s volleyball team, led by coach Lim Do-heon, is currently training at Jincheon National Training Center in Chungcheongbuk-do. First of all, the target competition is the 2023 AVC (Asian Volleyball Confederation) Challenger Cup held in Taipei, Taiwan from July 8 to 15.
If they win this competition, the national team will represent Asia in the 2023 FIVB (International Volleyball Federation) Challenger men’s tournament held from July 26 to 30.
From August 18 to 26, the Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship will be held in Tehran, Iran. The Asian Games will be held in Hangzhou, China from September 19 to 26. With this tournament, the national team schedule for this season comes to an end.
Currently, 17 players have been selected for the national team. Some of them have started strengthening training at the Jincheon National Training Center since May 1st.
