Short Track World Tour 1000m Final, Kim Ki-li and Choi Min-jeong, both medals

Kim Ki-li, the new ace of Korean women’s short track speed skating, and Choi Min-jeong, the “Return Empress,” (Sungnam City Hall) won medals side by side in the 1,000m final of the International Skating Union (ISU) World Tour. 먹튀검증

In the women’s 1,000m final of the fourth ISU short track world tour of KB Financial 2024-2025 at Mokdong Indoor Ice Rink in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul on the 14th, Kim Ki-li was the first to cross the finish line with a time of 1:30.884. Dana Blaise of Canada then came in second with a time of 1:31.010, and Choi Min-jeong came in third with a time of 1:31.053.

Kim Ki-li, who dramatically won the ticket to the finals thanks to an advanced decision in Group 2 of the semifinals, ran a come-from-behind race at the last minute in the finals. Kim won two gold medals in the individual competition of the World Tour this season.

Choi Min-jeong, who returned after a year and nine months since the world championships in March 2023, passed in third place.

Kim and Choi both ran fourth and fifth in the early stages of the race. They both attempted to overtake each other with two laps to go, and with one more lap to go, Kim and Choi posted spurt.

Kim Ki-li, who had risen to second place, successfully overtook the in-course with half a lap to go, and crossed the finish line as No. 1. Choi sought to overtake the out-course but failed to check and ranked third.
