He bowed his head and said, “I was a little more desperate because I thought it was my last Asian Games, but I felt a clear difference in skill.”

Jeon Kwang-in sighed, saying, “The opponent is much more advanced than before, but we didn’t show that. In fact, I don’t even know what’s wrong anymore,” and added, “The biggest problem is that our (skills) haven’t improved.”

A major factor in the volleyball team’s failure at this tournament was the lack of smooth generational change. Due to the slow growth of young players, they had no choice but to hire veterans such as Han (Korean Air), but this was also not a solution.

Jeon Kwang-in said, “I am grateful that they call me during a competition like this, but I also felt that there were no players yet. It may be difficult to achieve right away, but it will be important to form a national team with young players from the beginning and lead them consistently.”
