It rose to ninth place in October and fell two places to 11th place last month, but it has entered the top 10 again.

Earlier this month, Shin Yu-bin competed in singles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles at the mixed team World Cup in Chengdu, China, and took the lead in the runner-up.

South Korea allowed two losses to China alone out of 11 games, but won all nine games, including “enemy” Japan.

Shin Yu-bin also led the Asian team to victory against the world team at the recently concluded Valdner Cup, and is ninth in the World Table Tennis (WTT) women’s prize money list with $111,975.

Meanwhile, Yoo Yeon-rin (Hwaseong City Corporation Youth Team), a rising star who took the lead in achieving Korea’s first-ever win in the U-19 women’s team event at the World Youth Championships held last month, remained third in the junior world ranking.

South Korea remained second to Japan in the junior women’s team rankings, while China, which lost 2-3 to South Korea in the semifinals, fell from third to fifth.
