Pohang renews contract with Yoon Pyeong-guk, who won the Korea Cup

Yoon Pyeong-guk will protect the goal of Pohang Steelers next year.

The Pohang Steelers have renewed their contracts with Yoon. After joining Incheon in 2013, Yoon has blossomed in Gwangju while gaining experience one by one. Based on his performance, he joined the Pohang Steelers in 2022. Yoon had a respectable game in his first year as a member, but failed to play in the league the following year due to an injury.

Yoon Pyong-guk made his first league comeback in more than two years against Gangwon on Sept. 22. He kept his team’s victory in a stable manner that overshadowed the gap. After playing all the remaining games as a starter, he showed brilliant defense in the Korea Cup final and made a brilliant contribution to the victory. 먹튀검증

“Thank you to the club and the manager for giving me the opportunity to re-sign. After coming to Pohang for three years, I was able to have more fun and learn a lot about soccer,” Yoon Pyeong-guk said. “I felt a lot of affection for the fans who always support me passionately, but I am happy to continue to be with them. I will work hard to contribute to the team and produce good results next year.”
