MLB Monster Rookie is out again…The Yankees’ first 3 home runs exploded in 1G history, even against rival Boston

The New York Yankees have a monster rookie again. With Anthony Volpey in his second year as the main shortstop, 25-year-old rookie first baseman Ben Rice is showing off his slugging capability this year. Rice became the first Yankees rookie to hit three homers in a game against the Red Sox, ending his team’s four-game losing streak.

The Yankees beat the Boston Red Sox 14-4 at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York, on Tuesday (Korea time), escaping a four-game losing streak. Rice, the first batter and first baseman, had three hits in five at-bats, all of which were home runs. She has seven RBIs and half of her runs scored came from her home run. Rice has gone down in history as the first Yankees rookie to hit three home runs in one game. 고수익알바
“Rice was a Boston fan who was born and raised in enemy territory, from Kohassett, Massachusetts (where Boston is located),” MLB.com said after the game. However, in order to prove his loyalty to the Yankees, he wrote on the outfield on the right side of Fenway Park in Boston (a kind of initiation ceremony for rookie players from away teams visiting Fenway Park).

“Rice left his mark on the historic rivalry (between the Yankees and Boston). He hit three home runs and received a standing ovation for the first time since his debut at Yankee Stadium. The Yankees beat the Boston Red Sox 14-4 to snap a four-game losing streak,” he added.

After the game, Rice said, “I will never forget this day for sure. It was an important victory for our team. It was a rebounding game, and I was excited that I beat my hometown team again. It was a great game.”

She started off the ground running. As a leadoff man in the first inning, she hit a solo shot against starting pitcher Josh Winkowski with a ball count of 2-2. With only one homerun in the past 16 games, Rice fired a signal to reach the milestone. She hit a three-run homer off Chase Anderson in the fifth inning, and Anderson hit a three-run homerun again in the seventh inning. She has seven RBIs.

“Rice was considered the 12th promising player of the Yankees in the MLB Pipeline. He is the first rookie in the history of the Yankees to have three home runs in one game,” MLB.com said. “It was an amazing game. It is great that we can bring the mood with home runs from the first inning amid what we are going through (loss and hitting slump).”

Yankees fans paid tribute to the rookie who set a new record with a standing ovation. Rice responded by waving her helmet to the fans and being pushed by teammates. “Honestly, everything happened so fast. I couldn’t get out of the mood when I hit a home run, and everyone was yelling at me. Players led me up the stairs and I thought, “Oh, it’s a standing ovation.”
