The U.S. MLB Network announced three candidates for the 먹튀검증 American League (AL) MVP on the 12th (Korea Standard Time).
New York Yankees Aaron Judge and Juan Soto (outfielder) Kansas City Royals Bobby Witt Jr. (infielder) have been nominated.
Judge is considered the most likely winner.
Judge posted a batting average of 0.144 58 homers and 144 RBIs in 158 games this season. He beat Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers to rank No. 1 in homers in the entire MLB. He was the No. 1 in RBIs and the third in batting average in the AL. He also posted the highest on-base percentage (0.458) and slugging percentage (0.701) in the two major leagues.
Wit Jr., a third-year shortstop in the big league who won the Gold Glove (the shortstop category) earlier this month, hit 211 hits, the most in MLB in the 2024 season, ranking first in the batting average (0.332).
As he became a free agent after the end of this season, Soto had a batting average of 0.288 with 41 homers and 109 RBIs. He was second only to Judge with an on-base percentage of 0.419.
