Adrian Woznarowski, a U.S. sports channel, said on his social media (SNS) that “according to sources, Dozier, a free agent, has agreed to a one-year contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves.” Dozier’s NBA record was last in the 2022-23 season when he played for the Sacramento Kings. Last year, he left the NBA and joined the Serbian league Partizan Belgrade.

Dozier, who made his NBA debut in the 2017-18 season, averaged 5.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. Career high is that he scored 7.7 points and 3.6 rebounds per game in the 2020-21 season when he played for the Denver Nuggets. Dozier’s career declined sharply after suffering a major knee ligament tear against the Portland Trail Blazers in November 2021.

He was traded to the Boston Celtics in February 2022 and later went through Minnesota and Sacramento, where he was effectively reduced to Journeyman. As a result, he transferred to the Serbian league, and after twists and turns, he returned to the NBA for the first time in a year.
