Jordan’s national team’s ‘breakdown’… ‘return home’ ahead of the veteran FW match against Korea → establishment of discipline

Jordan’s national soccer team is in turmoil ahead of a return match with the South Korean national soccer team.

It was revealed that the team atmosphere was also chaotic with two absentees due to accumulated disciplinary action of warnings.

Jordanian media Amman News said on the 3rd (Korea time) that Hamza al-Dardur, the Jordanian national soccer team, was suspended from three games and fined $5,000 (about 6.69 million won) by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for his actions in the round of 16 at the 2023 AFC Qatar Asian Cup.

The media explained, “The Jordanian national team announced al – dardur was leaving the team for disturbing the internal order. He returned to Oman, where his team is.”

Jordan is set to play the semi-final match against the South Korean national soccer team at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium in Al-Raiyan, Qatar, at midnight on the 7th.

Jordan advanced to the semifinals by winning 1-0 with an own goal by opposing defender Bakhdat Hanonov in the quarterfinals of the 2023 Asian Football Confederation Qatar Asian Cup against Tajikistan at the same venue on the 2nd.

Jordan made it to the finals for the fourth time in its history. It is the best record ever, surpassing the quarterfinals at the 2004 China Championships and the 2011 Qatar Championships.

Earlier, Jordan succeeded in a dramatic 3-2 come-from-behind victory over Iraq in the round of 16 on the 29th. Yazan al-Naimat scored the first goal in the 46th minute of extra time in the first half, but lost to Saad Nathik and Aymen Hussein in the 23rd and 31st minutes of the second half.

However, Hussein was sent off for a second warning after a long ceremony after scoring, and Jordan gained a numerical advantage.

In the end, Jordan succeeded in a dramatic come-from-behind victory, with Yazan al-Arab and Nizar al-Rashidan scoring consecutive goals in the second half of extra time. In the process, al-Dardur, who was on the bench, caused a stir when he was directly sent off while protesting against the referee.

Shortly after the match, the Jordanian Football Association announced al-Dardur’s exit. “We exclude him because he did not follow the team’s internal control and instructions,” the association said.

Al Dardur was mostly a member of the bench at this year’s event, but he is a veteran striker in his 13th year since debuting in the A-match in January 2011 at age 19. He has 35 goals in 125 A matches. He is also the top scorer in the Jordan A-team history.

Al Dardur also represented Jordan at the 2015 Australian Games. At that time, he contributed to his team’s 5-1 victory by scoring four goals and one assist in the second group match against Palestine. He did not participate in the 2019 United Arab Emirates Games.

Al Dardur replaced Al Tamari in the 44th minute of the second half of the match against Malaysia, and Al Naimat in the 29th minute of the second half of the match against Bahrain. He was on the bench in the group league match against Korea.

Jordan, meanwhile, has already removed al-Dardur from its best membership and reorganized its attackers around Al Tamari, al-Naimat and Ali Olwan for this tournament.

Al Dardur will no longer be able to participate in this year’s event due to the three-game suspension. Even so, he could have stayed with his team and shared the rest of his journey, but chose to oust his coaching staff.

Jordan, along with center back Salem al-Azalin, was given a second warning in the quarterfinals against Tajikistan on the 2nd, making it impossible for Ali Olwan to play in the semifinals against South Korea.

Al-Azalin and Ali Olwan were both given their first warnings for fouls in the third group game against Bahrain.

“Both players are the core of our team and they helped us all the way here today by dedicating themselves to excellent performances,” Amuta told a press conference after the game. “We cannot accept Olwan’s warning. In particular, we were complying with the rules. Even during the ceremony, we tried to avoid the warning.”

“If it was a tactical foul not to give a significant chance to the opponent, a warning or a red card could be accepted. But we didn’t try to give unnecessary warnings. Now, bench players should step up and do their part against Korea,” he said.

Altamari, the only European player, also looked difficult to play in the aftermath of the injury, but he raised his prospects for the match against Korea. 헤라카지노

Singaporean journalist and commentator Rish Roshan Lai commented on the Tajikistan match on his social network service, saying, “There is Olwan’s disciplinary action and the potential injury of Al Tamari. Both players are key to Jordan.”

He had a head injury as well as a leg injury. “Jordan star Al-Tamari had a minor injury, but he will not have any trouble playing in the match against Korea,” the Arab media outlet Kura said. “He had a minor head injury, but he will be chosen by the coach.”
