“It takes 3-4 months to return” Lotte, “Injury Nightmare” even after the season is over…Son Seong-bin + Ko Seung-min confirmed surgery in October

The Lotte Giants, who have suffered from injury nightmares all season, is expected to sigh even after the end of the season.

The two players who were in charge of the center line will have to undergo rehabilitation throughout the off-season due to injuries. They are Ko Seung-min, who is completely on second base and equipped with a blind eye, and Son Sung-bin, who took charge of the home ground on behalf of Yoo Kang-nam, who was out for the season. 메이저놀이터

Lotte manager Kim Tae-hyung, who met at Sajik Stadium on the 26th, said, “Both Ko Seung-min and Son Sung-bin have scheduled surgery dates in October.”
Son was left out of the first team, and Ko Seung-min is playing because his injury is not significantly affected by the injury. Son will undergo surgery at Anam Korea University Hospital on Oct. 7 and Ko on Oct. 14, respectively. Ko Seung-min suffered ligament damage in the mid-segmental joint of his left thumb, and Son suffered a torn membrane surrounding the ligament in his right wrist.

The surgery, treatment, and rehabilitation are longer than expected due to the more difficult-than-expected injury. It is expected that it will take three months for Ko Seung-min and four months for Son Sung-bin. Both of them were on the Premier 12 preliminary roster, and Ko Seung-min was most likely to be selected, but his dream of becoming the national flag went up in smoke when the surgery was confirmed. He plans to focus on rest and rehabilitation with the aim of joining the spring camp, which will begin at the end of January next year.

Lotte will start its final camp at Sajik Stadium in Busan from October 11. It will also be joined by the education league. Most seniors are scheduled to take a rest. Hwang Sung-bin, Yoon Dong-hee, Na Seung-yup and Son Ho-young will concentrate on reinforcement training until the end of October. Starting in November, training will be divided between Sajik and Sangdong.

Lotte has been suffering from repeated injuries all year round. Rookie and mid-sized pitchers including its home turf Yoo Kang-nam and Shim Jae-min, Choi Jun-yong, Choi Lee-joon and Jung Sung-jong were all out for the season due to surgery.

Choi promised to join the team as soon as possible, and Yoo Kang-nam has also started rehabilitation. “All players who underwent surgery can join the team in time for next year’s spring camp. There is no problem in preparing for the new season,” said Kim Tae-hyung.
