The two have the same points as Hyundai Capital (four wins), which ranks first, but are lagging behind in terms of wins.
It was a valuable victory only for native players. Korean Air’s main catcher Yosvani was unable to participate due to his shoulder injury and Asian quarterback Aref was unable to participate due to poor condition.

Jeong Han-yong led the team to win by achieving the triple crown (blocking, sub-ace, and three or more rear-end attacks), including five rear-end attacks, three blocks and four serve aces. Jung Ji-seok, who played Libero due to shin injury, returned to the outside heater and scored 19 points, while middle blocker Kim Min-jae also helped with 17 points, including four blocks.

KB Insurance lost its opening five consecutive games, but had to settle for a point (one) for the first time. Although Villena scored the most 28 points in both teams, her offense rate was only around 45 percent. Na Kyung-bok, who returned, fought hard with 19 points, but none other than the two players scored double-digit points.

Korean Air won the first set, but lost the second and third sets, putting it on the verge of defeat. However, Jeong Han-yong and Kwak Seung-seok (eight points) of the fourth set combined to score 12 points, bringing the game to the final five sets.

Jeong brought the victory with back-to-back serve points in five sets, four to three. Kwak also sealed the victory by hitting and blocking the open.

Women’s team Hyundai E&C also beat Pepper Savings Bank at its home game at Suwon Gymnasium in Gyeonggi Province. It won the match with a set score of 3-1 (25-16 17-25 25-21 25-17).

New foreign player Taylor Fricano joined the team, but failed to overcome the absence as administrative procedures such as visa issuance were not completed. Lee Ye-rim (17 points), Asian Quarter Jangwi (13 points), and Park Eun-seo (11 points) made great efforts, but they were not good enough.
