The Korea Football Association (KFA) flew a chartered plane for the upcoming “A” match in October. “A chartered plane went to Lebanon during the 먹튀검증 2014 World Cup Russia final qualifying round, and used an away chartered plane when going to Iran for the third match of the 2022 World Cup Qatar final qualifying round. It was for the players’ recovery and schedule when going to Iran.
The chartered flight, which departed on the afternoon of the 9th in Korean time, carried more than 200 people, including fans, officials from partner companies and reporters who are leaving to cheer for the expedition. The team will enter the country on the chartered plane after the match against Jordan on the 10th. It will prepare for the Iraq match at Yongin Mir Stadium on the 15th.
The move was prepared by the KFA as there were no “direct” flights between South Korea and Jordan. The flight time is not greatly shortened, but it does not pass through, which can help the players recover a little.
Despite the fact that Son Heung-min (Tottenham Hotspur) has been called up due to injury and the KFA is noisy due to various issues, they all share the same view of cheering for the national team. All fans boarded the plane with a happy expression. The national team’s uniforms including Hwang Hee-chan (Wolverhampton), Son Heung-min and Lee Kang-in (Paris Saint-Germain) stood out. A significant number of K-League 1 and 2 teams also wore apparel.
One fan said, “I don’t take a favorable view of the KFA, but I think it was a good thing to fly a chartered plane. Aside from the KFA issue, I hope the players do well. I want to send them a cheer,” explaining why he accompanied the visiting cheering squad.
The flight attendants were not wearing the uniform of an airline company, but the red uniform of the national team without a uniform number. Some of them were wearing scarves with the mascot of the national team, Baekho. In the in-flight announcement, they also said, “I hope it will be a triumphant flight.”
Videos of greetings from players welcoming the cheerleaders and phrases supporting the national team were also posted on in-flight meals and desserts. Several videos related to the national team have also been placed on the monitor.
As if to respond to this, KFA Chairman Chung Mong-kyu, who boarded a chartered flight after the flight began, greeted and shook hands with officials one by one despite loud public opinion.
