Ko Woo-seok said, “There is no justification to go back to KBO!” Do you think so? …It seems that he is still willing to enter the big league, but the reality is not easy

In an interview with Lee Young-mi TV after being traded from the San Diego Padres to the Miami Marlins, Ko said, “Rather than saying I don’t want to go back, I have to do something even if I go back. I haven’t done anything yet. There is no reason to go back.” He was negative about his return to the KBO League.

After that, he was demoted from Miami Triple-A to Double-A. In an interview with a local TV station, Ko renewed his commitment to the big league.

Ko Woo-seok said, “I will show good performance to Pensacola fans,” adding, “I will do well here and go to the big league.”

Asked what he was trying to prove in Double-A, Ko said, “I was able to come to the U.S. because I pitched well in Korea,” adding, “I am not throwing as well as in the KBO yet. I will show you how to throw better than in the KBO.”

And it’s been almost two months. Ko has shown nothing in Pensacola. He has a disastrous 12.60 ERA in 15 games. He’s almost three times higher than 4.38 in San Diego Double-A.

In response to Ko Woo-seok, local media Miami Herald reported that the Miami club believes it is difficult for Ko to grow into a big leaguer. 먹튀검증

At the end of the season, the Miami Marlins will closely evaluate Ko. There are two options. It is up to him whether he will be accompanied by his contract until 2025, when his contract expires, or whether he will be released.

If the Miami Herald’s report is true, Ko does not have to stay in the United States.

The Miami Marlins may not invite them to their spring training next year. It is a means to pressure Ko to terminate his contract. If Ko accepts the offer, he can return to LG.

However, it is questionable whether Ko Woo-seok will give up his salary of more than $2 million. Also, it seems difficult to decide to return to LG because of his strong will to enter the big league. Miami may be patient and give Ko Woo-seok a chance next year.

But if Miami gives up, it has no choice but to come back.

For Ko Woo-seok, this offseason is expected to be an exceptionally long winter.

Meanwhile, Ko is expected to end the season after taking the mound four to five more times. The minor league double-A season will end on the 16th (Korea time).
