Kim Min-seon, who started at the group 18 outer course, the last group, passed the first 200m with an overall record of 18.52 seconds, and then ranked first in all section records. He ran the 200-600m section in 29.71, recording a record of 48.23 to the 600m point, and finished the final 400m in 32.23 with ease. Among the contestants, Kim Min-sun is the only one who set a record of 1 minute and 20 seconds.

Kim Min-seon set a record far lower than his personal best (1:13:790) because he played the game in an outdoor stadium, but it was difficult to find an opponent on the stage of the Universiade, where college students compete.

Kim Min-seon is the world’s best sprinter, having swept the women’s 500m event in the International Skating Union (ISU) World Cup series this season. She is also performing well in the women’s 1000m, which is not her main event. Last year she won a silver medal in the women’s 1000m at the World Cup 1st event in November, and she is ranked fifth in the world rankings in that event. Kim Min-seon aims to win two gold medals in the women’s 500m event, which will be held on the 20th.
